A nice small scale plant nursery off the beaten path- I went for native perennials but also has a decent selection of house plants, annuals, veg gardening. Staff was especially helpful.

I love growing garden lettuces. This year, no local greenhouses, box stores, supermarkets, etc. had anything for lettuce plants. UNTIL, I discovered Railside Greenhouse in southwest Cedar Rapids. Their vegetable plants, annuals, perennials were all amazing, and at better prices than most. Very friendly and helpful service. I won't be shopping elsewhere for my plants in the future. Check out the pictures of my lettuce harvest this morning! Salad anyone? 😊
